Since its debut in 1994, Salmonchanted Evening has raised over $1.5 million and continues to grow each year. Always a sold-out event, the evening festivities include a sit-down meal, both live and silent auctions and a Fish Pond where guests can fish for prizes off the surface of the Straight of Georgia exhibit in the Pacific Canada Pavilion. This year we are very excited to offer for auction an original Robert Davidson piece of art. Salmonchanted Evening is a fun and festive fundraiser for the Vancouver Aquarium, a non-profit, self-supporting organization. As the Aquarium celebrates 50 amazing years this year, we recognize more than ever that we must unite our efforts to conserve our fragile marine environments for future generations. Proceeds from this event ensure the continuation and growth of our programs will have a positive, tangible and long-term impact on both our community and aquatic world. Friday, September 29, 2006 |
